Design a Food Truck
You are going to open a food truck business that sells some type of food. You will have to design a logo for food truck, the truck itself, and a menu. What will your truck sell? What will your color scheme be? What will your font look like? Who will be your target audience?

Part I:

Brainstorm ideas and collect information on Pinterest

1. Open Google CHROME
2. Create an account or log in to an account you already have
3. Add the pinterest Button to the tool bar when it prompts you
4. Go to your email address and confirm your new pinterest account
5. Find Ms. Blakely on Pinterest and follow
6. Create a new Board and call it "Food Truck Inspiration"
7. Share the new board with Ms. Blakely
8. Add 20 pins from Pinterest or other websites that inspire you and add them to your "food truck inspiration" board

Part II:

Design the logo & overall feeling of the Truck

Start with a logo that will act as your brand for the whole food truck. Think about Colors, fonts, style, and overall feeling. Use the design brief to assist in the designing process.

Part III:

Truck Template

Work the logo into the truck and design the rest of the truck. Play with color, text style, and use the art elements and principles of design. Use the template below to get started. Feel free to find challenge yourself and draw a truck from scratch!

Objectives:

• Incorporate the logo into the truck design

Part IV:

Menu

The menu should match the truck design and incorporate the logo into it as well. You must work with an 8.5x11" document and fold/cut it up however you desire. Be creative. Check out some creative options that Pinterest has to offer for menu design.

1. Create one document in Adobe Illustrator
2. Set up guides to create a layout (tri fold/ half fold/ full page)
3. Incorporate your logo and color scheme from the truck into the menu
4. Include text that conveys your food & prices
5. Use at least 2 different fonts but limit yourself to no more than FOUR
6. incorporate images/ designs
7. Make sure it is clearly legible!
